Title: Location of "Relay for Day Lights"
Post by: polilara on 24 July 2014, 06:53:21
Hello

I do not know the English word of this relay but it switchs the lights on allways when engine is running even if the light switch is in zero position.

This relay does not work anymore. I already bought a new one but I cannot find where it is located in the car. I remember I heard the click of that relay somewhere in the passenger side perhaps behind the glowebox. I took away the glovebox as well as the side cover in the passenger foot area and found many interesting things and much cables but not this relay from anywhere. Where that could be found?

OK, changed it yesterday, thanks for RobG and mindaz for nice figures. And now it works perfectly. What is really nice is that when having lights on when light switch is in zero position the windscreen-washer-button does not activate the lights-washing-pump but only the windscreen-pump. I save a lot of water and detergent as the consumtion of lights pump is very high.
