Title: Oils
Post by: omega3000 on 24 July 2014, 21:47:36
What make of engine oils are to be avoided , out of 4 omegas only 1 suffered from mayo in the filler neck regardless of short runs ect . Ive ran all sorts of oil from budget to high but we always used Castrol years ago with no problem but Castrol dont seem to be very popular anymore  :-\

I found Duckhams to be good years ago  ::)

I don't know... all depends on how the offer is arranged ::)

But 25ish% off every 20 litres is generally found to be more enjoyable than a prod in the nadgers with a pointy thing :-X

If only there was an informed member in the trade who would offer to answer questions on oil-I'm sure you'd find the info you needed in no time.  ::) :D

(No harm intended)

Costco sell Chevron 10w40 at about £40 for 20 litres.  So if I can't blag TC price on Gen GM somewhere soon, then that's what the old girl will get!  ::)  :)
