The chromed spring won't last long though with the flex of the spring... I dont think it will anyway...

What shock is that? B4? Only I notice it isn't sided like the GM ones due to the twin brackets.

Chrome will be absolutely fine btw. Assuming its a proper job, chroming springs will last well in a spring application. Rust spots will be he ultimate problem but will last longer than the original paint where the rubber pads rub the paint away.

10 is an alternative cap to 11, and suspect 8 is an insulator block/bumpstop and fits between 6 and 5, and is covered by 7 :-\

After the chroming was done on my springs. They had to be heat treated to remove hydrogen embrittlement. Hence why i was £300 quid for 4 springs :o

Well if you will buy a horse and cart ;D

Or a Harley for that matter ::) or any custom motor"sickle" frankly. They do like a bit of chrome. You may of noticed, especially the springs. ;)

It was a professional company in Watford. Who told me they had to be heat treated and would cost lots more.
