hi all been to see another miggy today all looked good till I took of the cap of the coolent reservoir, which was full of mayo and all round the cap, what could have caused this

Bad cleaning of breathers and short journeys,and crap pattern oil,check coolant for mayo if oil cooler is gone.

If I read the post correctly   . .  OP is saying mayo IS present in coolant  tank & around coolant cap .

Almost certain oil cooler failure in my book  :'( :'(
