He brought sunshine & light to the world with his acting & comedic genius. Such a shame that he couldn`t overcome the dark clouds surrounding his own life.

Sad news indeed,a comic genius.Makes me wonder though,is it perhaps something in the genetic make up of such people that makes them prone to such things?You know a kind of trade off for having such talent.Thinking Tony Hancock among others.

I remember him more as a comedian for some reason. Even though he was much more prolific as an actor. Some of his stand up had me in stitches in my yoof. Seemed like a lovely, funny guy. Rip. :(

 :( latest news is that he was in the early stages of parkinsons disease  :(
