I have still to discover the location of the fuel filter on my 2003 MV6.
Gentlemen......I hang my head in shame. :-[ :-[
Looking at the records I have, I don't believe that it has ever been replaced.
Is it underneath the car like the family Corsa?
Easy DIY fix?
Inexpensive DIY fix?

Your problems a trifling Doctor, I have to find my gearbox soonish! :( ::)

Mine was underneath near the back end. From memory it was held onto the fuel lines by a fiendish clip at each end.

Yes, on the near side just back from the rear wheel arch. It is best to acquire the special tool to remove the filter clips.
Opti you should be ashamed!!! Poor miggy, no fresh filter for six years!!! ::) ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I will. :y
I stand corrected. The fuel filter was last replaced in December 2007........some 50,000 miles ago.

Having great sex with......XXXXXX/XXXXXXXXX. :y
I would only break the flimsy clips that hold the filter, so I'll stick to something I'm good at. ;)
-
Guess your motto is "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" Opti ;) 50K is certainly good mileage for a fuel filter - although I have heard of higher mileage fuel filters :)
-
Grrr, something else to do on the 3.2 now at 52k. >:( >:( >:(

Mine's on 222.000 ish and I've no idea when the petrol filter was changed last if ever. :-\
However, as the LPG system was installed at around 50,000 I can't say I've lost any sleep over it! ;)

88,000 miles for mine. I've just had a check underneath and the fuel filter is as dry as a nun's fanny. ;) The one on the Corsa was literally dripping petrol so I had no option but to replace it. It was far more accessible than the mighty MV6 though. :-\
I might invest in the tool to remove the clips if it is not too expensive. :y

Even with said tool I broke it. Ham-fisted sod at times :-[
I simply fitted 10mm fuel line over the broken fuel line and over the new filter and secured with small jubilee clips. Been like that for 40k miles now and no signs of leakage :y
