Hi,
Has any one had experience in updating the radio in an Omega,
I currently have a CDR2005 which works perfectly fine. The car
is a 2003 2.2 CD in excellent original condition with only 29K
on the clock from new.
I`ve been looking at some of the touchscreen double din radio`s,
e.g. Pioneer SPH-DA100 as a sat nav function would be useful.
I assume I will have to purchase some sort of surround for it to
fit correctly, but I`d rather stick with the original if it will spoil
the interior look of the car, or lose some dash / steering functions.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thx, Dave.

Hi there,
I just exchanged the original radio in my 2000 reg omega for a x Tron double din.
Bluetooth, mobile freespeaking, sat nav, radio, DVD, television, mp3 and so .
All I lost was the steering wheel switches but no problem on this.
Clock still works, so everything else.
Only difference I have no display in the computer where the date shows when radio is on.
Works perfect.
