apologies if this is in the wrong section first off.
I just had a visit from Daz, aka Darth loo-knee, he sorted out my cam cover gaskets and generally gave my engine a once over. he's a top bloke and definitely knows his stuff. if anybody needs any work done i would definitely reccommend him! when my cam belt needs doing again he's definitely getting a call!

He sure is, he came to me straight after you to do my cam cover gaskets, noticed the water level was low and when i undid the cap it was like oxtail soup in there. :(
So he's coming back next week to do the oil cooler as well now.
A really nice, honest, knowledgable bloke, Cheers Daz!

I'd have to say, he does know his way around an Omega engine bay.
He's pig ugly though, and a dubious taste is 1980s teeny bop music....

Daz has sorted my Omega out on a couple of occasions (Oil Cooler, Spark Plugs (still had original GM ones in at 56k mls :D !!!), Cambelt change and recently 2 new front Wishbones) and I can't fault.
Neat and carefull work, and routed all pipes neatly where they SHOULD be (Not where the VX Dealer last left them !!). I didn't know a car could have that many tubes, bits and leads !! and they all went back :y

Awww all these wonderful comments about him, makes me want to see him? Last i saw him was good few years back. I might just drop him a pm, and see if he comes to visit me :D :D ;D

came to my place yesterday and changed the cam cover gaskets, dis and leads, re sealed the oil cooler and ate the bacon butties that the missus made him.
had to put the original dis that he removed back on as the replacment pattern dis would not let the plug lock on to the dis.
man has he lost some weight and looks all the better for it if i say so.
