Title: Heater fan
Post by: flymofred on 31 August 2014, 21:39:15
Well properly caught out. Last Christmas my blower stopped working. I bought a fan and hedgehog off a very helpful member of this forum. Who lives in Bristol (who's name I forget, sorry)  out of despair before the parts arrived, I put a long tube on a WD40 can and sprayed miraculously the fan ran again . So of course didn't fit the new parts. Now as winter draws in it's bit my a . . . e and stopped solid . Is there an 'how to' for swapping a blower.

Thanks

It requires quite a bit of dismantling. From memory you'll need to remove the glovebox, airbag, move the main loom out the way and use a long screwdriver or extension bar and socket (can't remember what the mounting hardware is) to get to the mountings.

No need to remove or disconnect airbag ;)
