Hi All,
I'm thinking of going to see this tonight (assuming no one bids on it - don't want to buy it without viewing)
Does anyone know if it, have any thoughts?

don't know the car but looks good (I have had 2 x 2.2) and yes that looks fine obviously needs to be viewed and things that need checking also timing belt needs replacing every 40,000 can be used as a bargaining tool...think I paid £150 when I brought my last 2.2 :y

STARTING FROM COLD IT HESITATES
:-\
Did you buy it :-\
-
I did... went to see it just before it ended. The starting problem is an odd one... from cold it's very hesitant to start, but once warm you can stop and re-start it fine.
However saying that I started it this morning from cold and it was a little rough for a few seconds but it did start fine. I the only difference is I've put some petrol in it, and took it for a little drive last night.
It's got some issues (sunroof not working - locking on the drivers door is sticky - passenger side door doesn't work on the central locking etc) but nothing too bad.
It certainly drives well, 4 good tyres, recent brakes, oh and it's only done 60k :)

Worth getting a code reader on it to check for codes and let us know what you find. Could be the infamous 4 pot cam sensor or perhaps a MAF / Lambda sensor / air leak issue that's causing the fuel trims to go awry.

Press the sun roof dial in to reset....?

Keep an eye on the coolant level
-
mine was a bit like that...that's why she had to :'(
-
Well so far so good - I gave it some fuel/injection cleaner (with some petrol) and it's running very smoothly, I wonder if it was actually because the fuel level was very low (perhaps fuel pump problem) or just dirty...
(coolant and oil still look good)
I'll see how it goes over the next week or so and report back on any issues. This weekend I've got to take the door cards off and try to sort out the sticking lock mechanisms - any tips??
Thanks

Yep, most probably failed central locking motors.
Have a look here:

Just a little update - apart from a slight blow in the exhaust the car is starting perfectly now - even from cold (left all of Sunday - started instantly this morning at 0700 so was fairly cold outside)
I think perhaps where the car hadn't been used on the road since March (when the last tax ran out) it was dirty/old fuel, and the ecu re-adjusting after having the battery off?
