Carl,

I have no issues with red LEDs. Its the stupid, gay blue ones that question how, out of 100m sperm, that was the quickest.
Though, even with Reds, you will have issues with the illumination of MID and dash, as these rely on lightguides that do not work with the narrow beam of LEDs (though normal reds will be better than blues).

Carl,
I was gonna do that too but couldn't find a way of illuminating the heater control in any colour other than the amber... coz of the neon used...
If you find a way, let me know :)

minifreek....I changed all the bulbs in the back of my heater controls to blue led....the displays are blue....not amber...looks pretty good

and who is TB lol

Why would you want the dash lights to be brighter? I wish the dimmer had a further setting that turned everything but the instrument panel off. You know, like Saab do. Did, anyway.
-
you can still turn them down....but they do look good.....

They don't dim so well as bulbs, and the dimmer is designed around bulbs, but its the light guides that are the biggest problem. Blue, being usually ultrabright also is distracting when used for indicator lamps when its dark.
As for look good, beauty is in the eye of the beholder... ...so they say :P

If it makes you feel good....do it! I know I would...and I just might :-\ :-X

Obviously you've been here long enough to know if you use blue LEDs, your profile automatically gets modified to highlight your new found sexuality, as blue LEDs are gay :P
<evil cackle>

After giving it some thought :-\ perhaps I just might give them a miss ::)

The Alhambra has red illumination on everything (thankfully not LED's), takes a bit of getting used to. Reminds me of an 80's Nightclub! :D
