235/45s all day long, regardless of what happens in western Syria :y

17" wheels were fitted to certain models from late 97 Mid facelift onwards, and all, every single one, no exceptions, one was fitted with 235/45/17 tyres, whether you're in Salzburg Austria, Louisville Kentucky, Doha Qatar or Ankara Western Syria

235/45/17 is the official size worldwide for 17". Depending on local laws and insurance requirements, deviating may or may not be a possibility.
Whatever, you need to keep the rolling radius the same.

That table is a list of every wheel and tyre size used by General Motors, ever... it just happens to say 'Omega B' at the top ::)
Besides, you're only trying to cause another argument, otherwise you'd have quoted TBs post.... Oh, you did ;D
And whilst were being pedantic the UK is south south east of Iceland, whereas both Turkey and Syria were part of the Ottoman Empire, ergo, Turkey is western Syria :-*

yes.. I did quote TBs post because its legal to use different sizes in many countries.. ;)
south and east are seperate identifiers.. and east is enough matching your definition because Turkey is North.. ;D
and for your information; Turkey name is the name of the new republic which ended the Ottoman empire.. so its dead by all means.. ;)

That website is clearly bought and paid for by ADAC, whom we all know couldn't organise a tyre test at a race track, on race day... Continental obviously had a hand in it as well, so it is about as reliable and accurate is me forecasting the fishing results for next Thursday on Grand Cayman... :-X
Had I used a capital 'w' then you would be correct, but Turkey as is politically, is geographically the western half of the former Ottoman Empire, Syria being the eastern half, geographically speaking of course :y

The only information that should be presented is that that is relevant to the OP and his / her location... anything else is a waste of bandwidth and just goes to make the site a laughing stock.
