As above... Which network is preferred?
-
Unlike the 2015, fairly sure the 2008 are Dual Band, if so any Network Sim.
Or are you asking which is the best PAYG Network for diverting / receiving diverted calls to and from your Handset via 2008 HU etc.

Handy to know on the original question. And on the second point, I guess Ee is the only choice given my contract phones are both EE... :-\

Update - Phones4U PAYG or Contract Sims are going cheap this morning, or if your quick you can probably buy the whole Company from the Administrators this afternoon foe a £1. ;D

Do I get the frizzy girl from the beach advert thrown in... :D

Dont EE do a second Sim, same number thingy for a Fiver a month, or am I thinking of a shared Data Plan :-\, I know Vodabreak did a Multi Sim on the same No., not something they advertise or maybe dont do it anymore, used to have one moons ago, seem to remember it was free for Business Customers.
Seem to remember Al, your on the TM Full Monty through EE, if youve already got a couple of Plans with them, might be easier to try and give them grief and get another contract Sim through them cheap for 1000 mins and zero Data for the HU to do some divert trickery, or something, probably only cost a few quid a month. Remember I got my Unlimited 4G Red Plan through Vodacrap by signing a 24m contract for effectively Sim Only Pan for about £6 pm.

I will enquire at theee shop next time I am in town, got a £1 sim card with a £5 top up voucher to see if it all works... Might be text only if the mic isn't connected ::)

I thought, like the ccrt700, there were single band only? If so, Voda or O2, or one or their many MVNOs
-
This may or may not work without a SIM (of any description) insterted, but go to the Network Selection area, and manually scan what it can see ;)

Brochure suggests dual band, as I goes to great lengths to say that the NCDC20xx are single band/O2+Vodafony only

I shall give that a whirl once I have recharged the battery... apparently the boot light stays on all the while the boot is unlatched ::)

As you say 700's were GSM only, the 2008's GSM/PCN, at least they were in the late Vectra's, Corsa's etc, although may be different on the Omega Flavors.
