Title: Full service charge ?
Post by: omega3000 on 15 September 2014, 17:56:29
Father had his car serviced today "Nissan Note"  ::) Oil/filter/plugs/air filter/fluid top ups and checks for £140 plus they dropped him back off and picked him up when the car was ready .. didnt think that was too bad considering  :-\

Sounds a bargain to me considering it's main dealer, I'd be checking the plugs were actually changed though  ;) A service is usually a glorified oil change at stealers >:(

Yep...Mazda charged £180 for what they called a 'service'.

In reality it was no more than an oil and filter change and a casual 'look over' to see that it still had all four wheels. :-\

It wasn't a main dealer , a very good established village garage that was recommended  :y He got a dealer stamp to add to the full service history . Normally i would do the service but alas i cant do stuff like that any more  :(
