No.... totally different engines...

You can - however - weld the crack on the manifold... I know it can be done, as I'v done it :)

Yes you can fit the 2.0 manifold but, it does have extra holes for air injection etc. which would need to be blocked.

And yes you can weld them, not easy as its cast but do able.

Well today I got the old cracked manifold off. Not only is it cracked on the outside it also has a massive crack inside the manifold port so repairing it is defo out of the question

So the manifold from a X20XEV will fit a Z22SE....?

OR

Is the 2.2 in an Omega the X22XEV found in the Frontera's and Sintra's...?

No, it's the Z22SE found in omegas. IIRC the base engine is the same x20xev that pfl omegas have.

If I buy a new manifold should I go with genuine or just get an after market one

I'd think both'll do, or you can buy a tune-up manifold for some awesome extra 5hp :D

Frontera 2.2 is same engine as omega, cambelt driven, and we have the same problems with manifold.
