On the drive home last night the EML came on, no rough running drove fine.
As soon as I got home I plugged my code scanner in and it came up with the usual P0420 code.
Cleared that, started it up and it ran fine, turned it off.
Came out this morning (a lot cooler this am) started the car and it died instantly?
Started it again and it ran like crap.......tried to rev it up and nothing on the throttle, eventually it did pick up and I could rev it up but its almost in slow motion on the pedal!
If I press the pedal the rev do rise but very slowly.
Managed to drive it to work hoping it would clear itself but the same really.
The car feels very under powered under 3000rpm then it will pick up.
The car still has no EML light on and is showing no codes with the scanner.
Any advice guys? :y

Strangely just gone back out to the car and its started fine and will rev up ok?
Could this be CTS related and now its up to temp its working again?
Can the CTS be unplugged to see if this happens again?

Carry out the pedal trick and report back with the codes :y
-
It should log a code if behaving like that :y

How do you do the pedal trick?
I've scanned it with my code scanner and ...nothing?

I had this with one many moons ago, isn't it the throttle position sensor? All I did was turn it off and it cleared off. It came back from time to time. Yours may not happen again for weeks or months.

How do you do the pedal trick?
.....
Accelerater & brake pedal to the floor, turn ign on and count the flashes on the EML. It's explained in a guide somewhere. :y

Just done it and it came back with
10 1 10 10
So I would presume P0100
Which is:
P0100 Mass or volume air flow circuit high input
P0100 Mass or volume air flow circuit low input
P0100 Mass or volume air flow circuit range/performanceProblem
Is this the MAF thats playing up?

Unplug the Maf. If it improves unplugged then you need a new one :y

Was going to say...
When you clear the codes, the BLMs get reset, including the trims. With a code reader capable of live data, see if the trims are starting to drift off, and note the MAF readings.
However, if you have proved the MAF already :y
