I must admit I'm no great fan of modern car design,I find most to be bland or plain ugly.As I'm based on the premises of a main dealers I get to see quite a lot of new vehicles coming and going-and some older ones too,but today a car arrived on site that I didn't recognize the look of,although I thought that looks nice!Anyway interest piqued I figured a wander over to have a quick gander was in order. From the front I didn't associate it with any "family face"that I'd seen and the marque logo centred on the nose was unfamiliar to me also.Moving to the side profile gave a good looking 4 door saloon with flush fitting chromed door handles, but again no clue to identity.Looking inside the dash was also an unknown-though I think it'd have to grow on me,again no clues! So to the rear and there set fairly high up on the boot was a chromed strip a la XF and there imprinted on it at last the marque name,it read TESLA!!!I know nothing of the model hierarchy of these but to the lower near side of the boot it said model s and to the offside 85.But wherever it sits in the line up it was damnably nice!!!!!!

I saw a Model S this morning on the A322 - very nice it looked, too.. bigger than I expected, definitely seemed XF sized.

I still have wet dreams about the time I drove the Tesla, the torque alone is a whole new level of awesome!
I cannot wait for the model 3 in 2017, but I have also heard the Nissan are bringing out a 200 mile range Leaf by then too. Whether it will the self park feature or not is another question.

Plenty roomy, on price they're pitching it at the S Class/LS600h/BMW 7 playing field :y
