Title: High Ideal Speed at Start!!!
Post by: wesagog on 26 September 2014, 11:45:21
Hi,

I have omega B 2.0l model 1996 (manual Transmission)...
I'm facing a problem with the ideal speed when I start my car, it's reach 2800 rpm and never go down!!!

I cleaned the ICV but nothing changed, and the only way to reduce the rpm is unplug the ICV but became unstable when stating the AC system.
I tried to do the paper clip test ( which I did it many times before about a year a go) bu this test not works and the EML Not Flashes.

Please help me asap.

Thanks

Get some carb/brake cleaner and spray it around the intake and associated pipes, see if the engine note changes.
