Been watching the golf all day. Magic Mike, despite being right up my watsit, is on well past my bedtime.

How about sex with your wife, or sex with the wife of the man next door?

That's a good ten minutes if you include a ciggy afterwards. :)

Ten minutes allows for the wife, the wife of the man next door and the man next door, with a fag break between each one ;D

Yes, and Frankie (real Essex boy exaggerated!) put on the dealer selling act and getting peanuts for parts! ::) ::) ;D ;D ;D

Then there is Fuzz and Tim doing up peoples cars in Car SOS, Danny, the Count of Count Kustom, and crew in America doing miracles with American dream cars, whilst the characters of Wheeler Dealers do their stuff in making a few quid restoring interesting vehicles......................ah, the joy of motoring based programmes! 8) 8) 8) ;D ;D ;D

Thank God for the sanity though of Downton Abbey and Mr Whitcher Suspects, then back to Rick and family at Pawn Stars! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;)

I love multi-channel TV.  Why didn't we have it as a child?! ::) ::) ::)

You joke, but in the late 1950's/at the start of the 60's the radio was THE main focus of entertainment.  On non-school days, especially Saturday mornings, I would be 'stuck' to the front of the lovely glowing, warm, and highly comforting valve radio listening to hits like Little White Bull, My Car Went Beep, Beep, Beep, Love and Marriage, Little Dog in the Window etc, etc, etc. :-* :-* :-* :-*

Ah what lovely memories!! :-* :-* :-* 8) 8) 8) ;)

I remember late 50's stepdad bringing home a telly he bought off a bloke in London for a tenner. It was about 3' high with a screen about 10". We felt 'posh'. After a week the picture went, it was hilarious. The family sat around at night looking at the telly and................ 'LISTENING TO IT'.... :-[ :-[

Boxed sets, crosswords or conversation is the answer.

Just watching Breaking Bad. How good is that series.

SWMBO and I frequently find ourselves watching box sets of stuff that was on TV years ago that we were missed and were completely unaware of.

Currently watching "Bodies"  . . . .  :y Passed us by totally when it was on. The same thing happened with The Sopranos.

Now you are talking; I loved that along with The 6.5 Special, which of course was an early TV "pop" show theme song. Those spinning locomotive wheels, thrusting coupling and piston rods, along with the song, just helped me to become a railway fanatic/historian. 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) :y :y

Thanks for the memory prompt Cleggy!! :-* :-* :y
