Well Costco is somewhere I will avoid then when I am in the UK later this month! I'll have to see about smuggling a couple of packs of Mr Kipling mince pies back!

TBH all seem a little more sweet than I like, my old Mum makes a basic, but lovely, mince pie.... :y :y
They'r not all mince meat .... there's a layer of a cake/sponge at the bottom :) :)

Get out of here, it's only just October you'll be sick of the sight of them by Christmas. ;) ;D ;D ;D
SWMBO makes some wicked ones, deep filled and light pastry, must be the brandy in the filling :D :y Not allowed them until the week before Christmas eve, beautiful with some white Stilton. She will soon start on the cake, feeding it with Brandy for a month or so before the icing. :y :y :y

you can always tell when its getting near xmas, Easter Eggs are in the larger shops warehouses lol ::) ::)

Advice from my diabetic nurse.....if it fits into the palm of your hand....thats a portion....you are allowed a portion of anything :y Just dont eat the whole packet/box in one go :y

I am getting less happy with mince pies, I know it is sweet mince, but they seem to be getting to sweet, even Mr Kipling................. :( :-\ :-\ :(
