That one is pointing at cam sensor, which when packs up gives lots of other stupid codes, So looks like you need a new one.

And after cleaning my breathers i also got rid of that  p0170 code

P0170  lean exhaust-not present
p1555  throttle position sensor (tps) load signal not plausable with engine load-not present
p0340  camshaft position sensor circuit no signal-not present
p1700  svs via can-not present
p0335  crankshaft sensor incorrect signal-not present

p1781  unknown dtc-not present
p1625  internal power control final stage low input-not present
p0727  can receives error-not present

All these above were caused by cam sensor and breathers dirty. One i put new sensor in and done the guide for cleaning the breathers,I have never seen another light come on  :y

Only buy a genuine one from a genuine VX dealer that you walk into, not one on ebay :y

When my cam sensor decided to pack up. The signs i got was cutting out a lot and the dash light coming on.Giving me loads of codes along with the p0340 one.

Not sure what other members experienced when there cam sensors decided to call it a day.

The only code I had come up on mine was P0727 Engine Speed Input Circuit No Signal when the cam sensor was on its way out, and the odd "wont start when hot" and when it did eventually start the above code popped up. Never had any issue with stalling, limp mode ect ect. Replaced with genuine but newish/second hand sensor, been perfect since.

EDIT, this code came up and only once, the day before I replaced it. P0340 Camshaft Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction.
