Not when is replaced by Alan Johnson before the next election for the Heywood debacle of only beating UKIP by 600 + votes ;) ;D ;D
UKIP will soon have two elected MP's :y

No political paty really floats my boat these days.

Cameron....Eton toff. :-\
Clegg........Another public school educated toff. :-\

If only 'screaming Lord Sutch' was still alive. ;D

I think you are spot on there. We haven't had a charismatic leader for quite a while now. Gordon Brown plumbed new depths to my mind.
I think it is quite sad when you realise that most of the MP's seem only to be in it for the kudos/expenses. If only there were more Beast of Bolsovers.

It seems that all party leaders now have gone gone from university straight into politics and so have no real
life skills at all, oh, and also they are a bunch of idiots. :D
-
After the demise of such as Aneurin Bevan I lost all interest in politics. Been old enough to vote for 50 years, only voted once.. What is the point? It would seem each and every one of these politicians is in it for themselves, 'as already said'. Agreed with one bloke on the telly this morning who said, 'if Nigel Farage died, UKIP would die with him'...

They tried that at the last election and he's still here, more going for him dead that the ConLibDim's alive. :y

Why shouldn't business and government leaders be educated :-\
Criticism of an education is stupidly narrow minded. I for one would much rather be governed by an educated 'Toff' than by a biggoted shop steward who thinks that black people are from outer space...
Anyone can become a councillor or MP. If you don't like something, the vote for changes. If that doesn't work for you, then empower yourself and stand for what you believe in.
But ffs, don't sit there bleating about how shit government and politicians are, and in the same breath admit to not voting >:(
If you don't like it, either do summat about it or shut up :-X
-
BROOCIE! Politics again! Who started all this then? ;D
-
None of the mainstream parties (and I just about include UKIP as mainstream) are much cop. The 3 big ones have reality to deal with, the 4th lacks any consistent policies.

If you don't like it, either do summat about it or shut up I Do.. I excercise my right NOT to vote....ffs.
-
In the words of Billy Connolly..... 'The least desire to be a politician to should ban you for life from becoming one'. ;D
-
Not voting is to reject your role in a democratic society. Certainly noone ever changed anything by actively not voting.
Say you have a district of 104 people. They have an election in which there are two candidates. One is a total idiot, the other a normal person. If a hundred sheeple decide not to vote by way of protest, and idiots vote for the idiot candidate, and a normal person votes for himself, then everybody loses out, as 101 people then have to put up with the wishes of three idiots...
-
Brewsters Millions, "None of the above" ;D

Brewsters Millions, "None of the above" ;D
But by voting for "None of the above" you have actually made the effort to consciously vote...
Simply not voting at all roughly translates to "Can't be arsed to get out of bed" :y
-
And remember.. Dave said "A vote for ukip is a vote for labour" :y
-

And we all know how well they did :-X

Well that is what Dave said, So it must be true ;D ;D

I dont understand that statement :-\ if the majority voted for ukip then its ukip that win ???

Great guy was Dennis. :y
Sorry....he is still alive and kicking. ;D

The reality is that they might get 10% of the seats... If the tories and liebour are pretty much neck and neck, then then they will need to form a coalition to take control.
To those of you who don't vote out of apathy, might I make one sensible suggestion...
Instead of not voting, vote for any independent candidates.

Somebody said to me the other day that "Every none vote is a vote for sharia law, because there is no voting apathy there"
And to be honest I had no answer for that and could see what he meant
I was one of the 36% that did vote up here
-
I have voted at every general election since 1979, when I voted for JC rather than MT. :y

The British Public are apathetic when it comes to Voting! The Right to Vote is a great Privilege not to be taken lightly, but unfortunately it is taken for granted by the greater majority and it is a case of 'I can't be arsed' come Polling Day! Unfortunately, it is those same people who shout the loudest about the shortcomings of every Government, and the same ones who have the answer to every ill from the Economy to Immigration! :(

Quite, and probably take the most out of the system as well...

Survation pole puts UKIP with a possible 128 MP's, now ain't that one in the eye for the Liberal Left and Wish Washy Right, as for the Limp Dims Ha Ha.
