hope somebody can enlighten me, if a person in hospital haemorrhaged and needed a blood (1ltr)transfusion would they be sent home that same day. :-\

Assuming the leak was fixed, and depending on the individual circumstances then it's quite possible :-\

missus is a nurse & says it's not unusual . . . she says they would have checked the patients "blood count " & if ok doctor
would have probably ok'd to go home :-\
She also says a major factor would be where in the body the haemorrage occured
