Hi guys! :y
How ya all doing today?
As the "vibrating saga" continues...
OK... there is a slight possibility that I'm going to have to change the Coil Pack but first I've ordered some new ignition leads and let's see if that's the fix needed on my car vibrating between 1200-2500 rpm.
Possible problems so far eliminated..
Engine Mounts
Drive shaft and rubbers
Exhaust mounts and rubbers
Any other suggestions??
My question is ...If I have to fork out for a coil pack which do you recommend? Bosch or Beru? And why?
As always I appreciate you taking the time to make a comment and share your input.
Cheers
Ant

There are two? different loom connectors from memory. An oval one and a rectangular one.
Not easy to tell which one you have until you get it off.
Were the early cars all fitted with the same loom connector anyone?
Anthony- any visible arcing from ignition leads at night when you rev the engine? Be careful leaning over engine with loose clothing when you are looking.
I have two DIS packs you could have in the bundle of parts. I am fairly sure they work.

Hi Mr B. No sparks anywhere. Checked that ages ago. My DIS pack is the side square plug 99% sure. I took photos of it in June while checking its condition but it looks ok...

I put my head at stake that your DIS is this one. GM/VX number 90444184 :y (http://www.saunalahti.fi/aaleht/OMEGA%20B/1208068%2040%25.jpg)

It is that type, all the early V6's prior to circa 1997 had the vertical mount side connector coil pack.
Both Beru and Bosch are very good makes.
