Hi guys
I have seen some elite alloys which are 17" my omega ia a cd with 16" alloys can I put the elite alloys on as I have been told that it gives incorrect speedo readings. Is this true or is it a straight swap.
cheers guys

Wheels are a straight swap... current tyres should be 225/55/16s new wheels should have 235/45/17s :y

I would have thought the 17" with low profile tyres would be the same rolling diameter as 16" CD rims .

When travelling at indicated 30, am actually travelling 28-29. I know that doesn't sound like much, but just saying that speedos are rarely accurate. And that's running the tyres/wheels that it came out of the factory with. So really, changing from one original fitted wheel/tyre, to another, from another Omega asn't going to do anything.
Or, to put it another way, all Omegas (without being pedantic) have the same speedos, no matter the trim/wheels!

There are some difference across the range and years, and the Ex Police are different as well as being Calibrated. ;)
