Aside from the fact they are faster, they also look the nads. I'm after a late(ish, with the new style alloys) Elite saloon 3.2 with CID and lowish miles (below 70k ideally).
If I can find one, how much should I expect to pay?
-
£17.50.
-
Privately up to about 2k.
Dealer, anything up to 4 / 4.5k
Or about 5k for mine with more likes than that. And dodgy clocks ;D

No. I'm nearer.

Actually, no. I wouldn't sell it at all. There's nout else about. :(

you do t know you're 'arris from your Elbow Esta. ;D
Although I do value the omega higher than it seems to be worth. Being honest.

You could put the pennies you got for yours towards a nice chevrolet orlando. You know it makes sense.
-
Interesting question.
Mine is black. It's a 3.2. It's only GID and has nearly thrice the mileage you stipulate.
I'd never sell it though...... It's worth mere pence, yet worth loads to me.
If I replace it, what do I replace it with? I've already got the 5 Series, and never drive it, the wife has her Focus, I never drive it. I'm always grabbing the Omega key when it comes to getting in a car.
Thinking about it, I've got a mint Saxo VTS in a lock-up that I haven't touched since I bought it 3 years ago.
I've gone off on a tangent here, haven't I? ;D ;D
-
Esta. You must have owned a dog of an Omega. They're not as bad as you think. ..honest

I'll happily give you £17.50 for your Daewoo. We need something to liven up the oof bonfire night. Now where can we get a mini gun?
-
I was seriously considering ditching the Zafira and buying a Lexus GS450H. 341bhp, 0-60 in 5.9s and capable of 35mpg and can run on battery power around town! However due to current circumstances, I'd happily buy another Omega and run it for a few more years

And don't I know it :'(

Think you'll be lucky to tick all those boxes . . . . 3.2's are becoming quite hard to source
Agreed though . . . Black ones are cool 8) 8) on my second one now 8) 8) 8)

True, good ones are in short supply. Even Roger Budden is struggling
Is there anyone in the trade on the forum that can help me with finding one?

Josh may be the man ;) ;)

Picked up the project on gumtree for fair money. Mv6 with 2013 and cid with Irmscher everything.
-
Why didn't I think of that
Quick search revealed this. If I cant find black, next choice would be blue. It has CID too. Mileage is a bit too high for me though and old style alloys

It has a rear blind though. Newar ones don't. Although easily retro fitted.
-
Why was the rear blind not fitted to the late ones?

Looks nice :y wheels are easily sorted, would not worry at all about the mileage.
£800 :o :o :o ;D ;D ;D you never know . . he / she may say yes ;)
Also not too far away from you :y

Be quick . . . before Nitro sees it ;D ;D ;D

3.2 in Nocturno blue. They don't come much better. ;) Just need to ditch the "water bed" suspension. ::)

I was thinking about doing this actually. What needs changing? Shocks and springs only?
-
Depends on driving style. For Mr SMD .... er.... sensible driving, Elite suspension is fine. Comfortable. Rides London's bumps well. With firmness comes road surface intrusion and loss of comfort.
-
Eh!! did somebody mention my name....but come to mention it, I wouldn't kick it out of bed ::) but then I am an Omega tart :-*

I went to see this today. It has the same interior as my old one, but this one was rotten and not even hoovered. Cam covers were leaking badly and had no coolant in it, just plain water.
Mine was immaculate inside and all common issues addressed with new premium tyres all round. I think I'd have to pay roger budden prices if I want another like it.

It hasn't gone well....has it? :-\
Is there any chance you can buy back your old Elite?
-
That thought did occur to me. I was actually going to send them an email later tonight.
