235/45 17.
A pair on the back, and a different pair on the front. Don't remember what they are, and don't care enough to go and look.

Normally a tyre lasts a year for me. These aren't going to make it. ::)

Same here, from a well known auction website.
To replace the part worns.

Do you really want to know? As I drive like Tunnie. :y
-
Might start thinking about some pattern winters. :-\
-
Mid price budget until......the rear track rods on two of the cars are fitted and then four wheel alignments can be done and will then look at something like Vredestein,Michelin etc, depends on what my boy can get a deal on at the time as he's in the trade :-\
-

Since you are asking, Mr Gixer................ Goodyear Eagle F1 As.....You know the rest. :y
No need for any of this winter tyre/summer tyre crap with these beauties. :y

255/something/16 of the finest budget tyres the shop had :y

255/55R18 goodyear wranglers. Set of 4 brand new from assorted sources, including the bay of E, for about £250. All fitted, ready for winter, thanks to some pocket money cash to the apprentice.

The Bullet is on 4 x Dunlop Sport Maxx RTs - Not as good as its predecessor, the TT's, from a durability and straight line stability point of view, but still ideally suited to my car. Durability is not great though.
TBE is on 4 x Nexen N6000 :-[ - absolutely shite tyre from a grip point of view, but does make that highly strung car go straight
TBE also occasionally sits on 4 x GY F1 Assm2 - given the grip levels, cost, durability and those 3 faulty tyres I've had recently, I will not be getting any more.
(thank god this is Omega only, else I'd have to say what shite is on the battlebus)

Price is irrelevant for me, as sadly these tyres do not suit me/my car. Tried 2 sets, so I know its not just one was duff. Both sets ended up with some form of unexplained damage. Which reminds me, I must chase whats happening with those ones with the inner sidewall damage.
-
Odd really. Having used a fair few sets of GY F1 Assym in both the 1st and 2nd incarnations, I have never had any of the issues you mention.

Thing is we all drive our cars differently ::) Some at break neck speed some at captain slow , so a tyre for one wont have the same grip for everyone .. even in the wet ::)
-
What TB is saying is, he needs more grip. But still hasn't/can't/wont learn to drive within the grip level of the tyres he has. ;D
Where as D seems to be saying that he still hasn't/can't/wont learn that the Sun doesn't revolve around Earth. ;D
Both are ..... Quite incredible really :(. ;D
-
I would certainly buy the Goodyears again. :y
The 'instant slip' Dunlop Sportmax that a certain portly admin raves about ::)...... don't seem to do that well in independent tests. ;)
'Some say' they have about as much grip as Bambi on ice. ;D
-
Odd really. I only asked what tyres you lot have fitted. ::) ;D
-
225 45 17 Michelin Primacy on the front
235 45 17 some unknown branded tyre thats black and round on the rear...
All but 1 needs replaceing.... don't ask why they just do LOL

Are said independent tests done on an Omega, or even a chassis remotely like an Omega? A tyre test on a completely different chassis is somewhere between irrelevant and misleading. But we don't need to go down that line again ;)
