Is that reasonable?

Bit high if you ask me, but as they say.
A car is only worth what someone will offer. If you like it and you are happy then buy it. If it was me I would say 700- 900 tops. Does have a years MoT :y

Yes 12 months but needs some tender loving care :)

Should be three figures and not four.
You don't mention the mileage.

If it wasn't for the mileage ....Yes, I'd say so. Given that's a top of the range lpg kit. Although the lpg tank size is small, there are ways to fit a bigger tank in the Estate, and depends on condition of course.
They all need work though, but it sounds like that's accepted :y

Senior moment. :-\

To beat down the price, mention that the LPG needs recertifying (at 10 years, which is 2014), and the tank needs retesting (cheaper to replace).

Cambelt history?, otherwise thats another expence

I've avoided replying to this but meh;
Is it worth it?
I DON'T KNOW, I HAVEN'T SEEN IT!
LPG is worth nothing on a car which is rotten. It's worth even less on a car that needs a new engine.
You are asking a question which is impossible to answer.

Thanks for the comments, will check details with him and let you know.

SMD had a 54,000 mile example that went for around £1000. I was tempted myself. :y
No LPG though.

I went to see one today 02 plate so 1.5 years newer than my old one with the same interior. It was really manky and not even hoovered. Cam covers were leaking badly and had no coolant in it, just plain water. It was priced at £1195
Mine was immaculate inside and all common issues addressed with new premium tyres all round. I think I'd have to pay roger budden prices if I want another like it.

Your was in very hood Nic. One of the cleanest I've seen.
