So,

Wire brush and a spray over with suitable primer for the brake line - £5.00

4 Tyres - £200 - £400, depending on whether you care or not

Rear Discs - Not a fail, so more than likely perfectly fine - FREE

Ignore the ball joint covers if they are doing their job - FREE

Slight damage?  Tester is a tosser - FREE

So apart from Tyres and a pair of Wipers (normal service items)........

It won't cost a lot.

It has just entered my head that the road tax may be in the top bracket...... just like Andy B....eanz Merc.

Car was registered in October 2006 and I'm guessing that it throws out plenty of carbon crap.

VED for your vehicle in question would be £275 for 6 months, and £500 for 12 months. It puts out 283g/km of Co2.

:o :o :o Thanks, Mr Joshwyatt. That is a kick in the balls. Roughly 50% of the cost of the car.

I wonder if he would accept £700?.....That way I could tax the car free of charge for the first year. :y
