Title: wanted: estate fuel pipe
Post by: al brown on 27 October 2014, 20:57:40
Hi all, as per title, I need the fuel pipe that goes into the fuel filter (from the tank to the filter). Not sure where the next break up to the tank is, but I have broken mine where it meets the filter.
Don't suppose it matters but it is for a pre facelift.
Cheers Al

And two stainless jubilee clips either end :y

Cheers Al,

Don't happen to know what size so you? I did fit a short piece that I had in the garage as a temp measure till I could get the proper pipe but the internal diameter is slightly to big. Didn't measure what size I needed as I planned on getting a proper pipe.

Cheers, don't want to get under the car any more times than I need to. Plus it's dark when I get home from work and it's gonna rain. Oh, and I'm lazy too

Check the inlet /outlet size on the filter

Aim for a mm less and soak the hose in hot water prior to fitting :y
