Title: Qmax arrived - time to cut the panel!
Post by: JamesV6CDX on 25 June 2008, 11:24:43
Well it's here!

I presume I drill an initial central hole for the bolt, and then just put one bit each side, and do up the big one?  ::)

Very nervous here  ;D

You could practice on the "Satan CDX" first?

I've done it - it's made a lovely hole, so smooth I can run my fingers inside it :y

Phew, sweat over ;D

Any good rustproofing tips before I fit the filler? :y

Grease is probably the best answer.

I was going to add that I put a fine wipe of grease on the hole cutter threads and a spray of cutting oil on the cutter.....but you have already cut the hole  :y
