Title: Tesla Time

Well, it`ll soon be that time of the year for our local, village show.
So, Debs` Heath Robinsonesque Tesla coil will be coming out of storage and assembled in readiness for thrilling [size=9](& shocking)[/size] the locals.

During testing; all my electronic 'stuff' here has to go in a galvanised-metal animal feed bin (thumbs-up to Mr. Faraday) just in case of E.M damage........`apologies to those in North Wales whose flourescent lights may flicker and whose Tv/WiFi/Cell-ph. will surely be adversely affected.......`though on show-day we`ll run it inside a metal-sheeted farm building for safety and to negate (too-much) interference. ;D

Health and safety bods would doubtless enter a state of apoplexy (if they knew!)! ;)

Anyone wondering what the heck a large Tesla Coil is and can do, then watch:

"Fun" time :)  

It is amazing how many folks are totally bemused by "home made" lightning ... :) ... although I prefer proper plasma balls to tesla machines  :)

I've just had a cunning plan for keeping the dragon at bay. Might be even more effective than police tape.  ;D
