Try Motorwise online. I used them for an old Focus last year and got just short of £200.
Accepted the online quote and drove it to a scrappy about 5 miles away. Five mins of paperwork later and I had the scrappage certificate and cheque in my hand and I was away. Very easy transaction. DVLA sent me confirmation that I was no longer the keeper within a week.
I notice others have said scrap prices are down though.

May be worth taking the cat off and weigh it in yourself seperately if it's OE and keep the battery for a spare if it's any good.

I've forgot them in the past and regretted it, I collect shite ones now to throw on the back seat as the shells are getting loaded up....if the scrap man asks for one ;)

No mate, its my brothers old car, clutch knackered, suspension knackered, power steering knackered.......shall I go on? It came to me to put a new clutch in but when I got under it  :o :o :o Wasn't worth doing. Thus the reason we're looking at Zafiras.
