Title: I'd've cried
Post by: BazaJT on 05 November 2014, 20:26:13
A customer turned up at local Citroen dealership to trade in his "old"car for his brand new Citroen Berlingo Multispace today. It was one of those awful automatic ones where the car slows down between up changes.Anyway apart from his new car he got a fair-but not huge-wedge of money for his old car. What did he trade in?A 14 plate Jaguar XF Sportbrake!!! I'd've cried!

Why?
Ok...he may have needed the practicality......but a berlingo? Ugly buggers they are.

Saw an XFR Sportbreak a few weeks back.  Having had an XF saloon I wasn't sure about the estate version but when I saw it ...  :-* :-*

Yes I realise we can all suffer a change in circumstances/needs,but surely there's got to be a better alternative than a Berlingo, especially with that awful auto box on it!

Think of all the cash he'd have walked away with if he'd chopped that Jag in for a Daewoo!  :y

My chevrolet daewoo zafira in disguise has been bloody great with moving house. You'd be amazed what you can get in with all the seats down. Needs a good clean though  :-[

Rent a transit for a day, or a 7.5tonner.  More comfortable, more practical, better street cred with the ladies, etc etc

Have they put a proper engine in that yet, or is it still fuelled by devil juice :-\

Don't know what if any engines there are for the sportbrake but this one's a 2.2?diesel.
