Post by: Vamps on 25 June 2008, 21:56:36
As above, an estate on ebay is described as MV6 but as a 2.5l engine. :)

Think there all 3.0 or 3.2's mate

There's a sport that looks like a MV6 but is a 2.2

I may be wrong though

Not sure. I guess if your MV6 blew up you could fit a 2.5 to keep it going. :-/

MV6 where only ever fitted with 3.0 & 3.2 Engines. (2.6 on facelifts only)

Its either had an engine swap, or has had the spec changed. eg 2.5 CD had MV6 wheels and interior fitted.

iirc

All original (mini facelift) MV6's were 3.0's

Facelifts went to 3.2 or 2.6, and also a 2.2 badged as sport

When I got my Mig of e-bay the seller claimed it was a elite, I could see from the pics that all it had over a CDX was the boot lip, even so it was a fair price for a CDX, but I used the miss selling a power point for getting some cash knocked off, it worked :)

bloody nice car though

there's an 03 plate estate 2.2 sport for sale somewhere in black, LPG and front irmscher kit and its dirt cheap, so i suspect that its lightyear mileage since there's no mention in the ad

it needs to sell and the listing removed, otherwise mine wont sell!!
