Title: Hamilton World Champion
Post by: cleggy on 09 November 2014, 22:24:08
He will be when he takes Rosburg out in Abu Dhabi, like Senna and Prost.
Will he do it. ???

No, I reckon he'd be disqualified if he did that then Rosberg would be champ.

Lewis only has to finish second behind Rosburg to win it.

But isn't there double points or sumat?  One slip up.... :-\

He only has to finish one place behind Rosberg to win.

With no other cars with even close to the performance, he can go for a boring follow my leader, as long as there are no mechanical failures or blind back markers the title is his, the final face off thing is a bit over hyped to be honest

One thing is for certain Rosberg is no slouch. I don't think many other teams have had drivers so closely matched. Hamilton wins for me everytime on finesse. Although Hamilton caught Rosberg quickly after his spin, I suspect he was playing the numbers game and banking a certain second instead of a controversial 1st. I still don't like the level of coaching teams can and do give their drivers during the race. maybe transmission should be voice one way to pits and a small electric shock available the other way. ;D

I have a horrible feeling the result will actually be decided by mechanical reliability. Mercedes haven't had a failure for a couple of races now........

i hope lewis does it. cant stand rosberg tbh. as said though it could be a reliability issue that crowns the champion.
as for double points on the last race, its a bloody farce.

i personally cant stand lewis hamilton. however i think he's leaps and bounds above rosberg as a driver. the only reason theyre so close is cos of hamiltons DNFs and rosbergs consistent second place finishes.

rosberg (apart from sunday to be fair) just cant keep the gap. hamilton gets in front and then extends the gap.

should be hamiltons crown in abu dhabi. unless he has a dnf. heres hoping.

As a McLaren fan, I want to see the team do well. JB is a first rate driver, but let down by a poor car. It would be a shame to see him go before the team are able to restore their place at the front of the grid.
