Selected sellers are being enrolled in what sounds like a quite exciting new service.
You sell in UK as a UK seller and if an overseas buyer purchases you ship to an EBay hub at same cost as UK postage and they send it on at no extra cost to the seller
There are a few caveats e.g. they don't handle returns but on the whole I think that is a great step forward. One of my eternal irritants is UK sellers who won't post abroad. I often buy stuff and then get it delivered to a friend who posts it on to here.

I've been offered this,I'll see how it pans out :y

Yep, got offered it a few days back so have updatted my items, well have to wait and see. :-\

Yeah , I look forward to seeing it working too .
As a buyer I use Parcel Motel operated by Nightline where I have any items purchased from UK sent , usually free , to a hub in NI and then ( at a cost of €3.90 to me ) it is sent to a collection terminal of my choice . The closest terminal is a 70 mile round trip unfortunatly so the Ebay service will be most welcome .

Not sold anything for a while, keep buying though.... ::) ::) but have posted overseas without any problem in the past, even got an item returned and replaced when I sold the identical old car manual in A4 and A5 and got them mixed up...... :D :D :D

I am enrolled into it and have had three sales so far. Ok, two of them have not paid up so far, but you only list the postage as a normal UK shipped item and send to the hub in Derbyshire I think it is. The overseas buyer has to pay the additional cost and any taxes on top which ebay list to them on the final purchase invoice. Makes things easier as you dont have to sort it out yourself

The problem I can see with it, is, its only available to selected Countries so when a idiot Buyer meets idiot Seller outside of the Areas its all going to go tits up.
