Anybody tell me? I know, well sort of........... :-\ ;) ;)

You'll end up paying import duty and VAT on top of the purchase price? ;)

No.............. :P
-
It's not in Bradford ::)
-
The add suggests it is the UK.......................... :D :D
TBH it may be Ford that have buggered things, the body suggests MK2 Transit; but the Dash looks like it is a MK 1................ :-\ :-\
-
Ok, pics taken in Malta van now in uk :-\
Would it be a prefacelift Mk2, from the age :-\
-
Says its a diesel? Also there ar some suspect looking stains in there :o
-
Not much over spray ........ ::) ::)
-
"Impecable condition throughout" :o ::)
Given the state of Maltese roads, the way they drive over there & the fact that 'repairs/maintenance' are done on the fly with whatever is to hand, that old bus is going to need some serious tlc to the suspension at the very least! ;D
If he knocked the odd Grand off the price it may be a worthwhile 'Project' :-\

Maybe it was different in Malta, at the time of the launch of the MK2 Transit I had a Company MK1 Van and got one of the First MK2's in the Country, we specifically waited for it! I was working for 'Andrews Heat for Hire' at the time.............. :y :y

On further investigation I would say the same, although different locations the description gives it away - the way it is written, imho. This van shows the dash and is what I remember the dash of a MK2 Transit, very different to the one I posted........ :y :y
-
Original ad says first van is located in Sheerness, Kent, and has been imported from Malta.
Second ad is for a different van, shown parked behind the first van... wonky, tinted rear lights give it away... and is located in Queesborough, Kent, which oddly enough is a suburb of... Sheerness ::)
My guess would be that one or more people have chipped in to ship a load of relatively unrusty classics over from Malta :-\ Whether this is good or bad is anyones guess...
-
Well they got £2650 for the red one. So knock off say a grand for shipping and that could be a nice little profit if they bought them for peanuts in Malta or had owned them over there for some time. :y
-
Why would anyone pay that much for a thirty year old 'tranny'?..... :)

Clearly better value than a sixty year old one... (http://www.fakefaces.co.uk/images/lookalikes/fullsize/642-2441.jpg) ;D

Maybe we should all drive Daewoo's and have done with it! :-\ ;D

You'd cut quite a dash in your Daewoo Suburban ;D
