My MOTer swears by them...  ...but then he struggles to understand why I buy such expensive tyres.

No personal experience though, sorry.

I believe they offer lifetime warranty for punctures or something similar?

Is that because the car will probably be a write-off, buried in something immovable before the tyre gets a chance to get the puncture, therefore negating the warranty anyway?
