Title: VAGCOM dongle to suit a Lupo?
Post by: GastronomicKleptomaniac on 05 December 2014, 22:08:54
MrsGK, among others, has a 2001 Lupo and a 2001 Golf. The Lupo in particular likes to join in the festive spirit by illuminating its EML for various, trivial, faults. I've used VAGCOM to good effect on my old Skoda, but now both that and the laptop are gone.

Is it possible to use a USB dongle wotsit to connect with the desktop PC, approx 20ft away (and one storey) - or should I get a really long USB cable out of the window? I know it's not an Omega but I thought you lot would know a lot better than the becapped stoners on the majority of the VW forums... :D ;)
