Title: Longest train journey in the world
Post by: Varche on 11 December 2014, 20:22:19
I'll post the link in a bit.

13000 km(8000miles), Freight train. 21 days. Also crosses the greatest number of countries at 8 . Now that is impressive.

Any guesses? Detention for anyone saying Britain to .........

Different track gauges to contend with too. No idea why more freight isn't transported this way rather than road.

Locally i see 3.5t luton style vans which come and go with polish plates. Do they not have i think"forwarding houses" to combine freight in a general direction?

They All jump out at France and then hang around Calais Crossing, then rest of the half eaten Freight ends up in Madrid.
