Some of you may have noticed that I put a notice up today to get rid of Goldie.
I know the "written rules" and two people reminded me very sarcastically to which I replied, pointing out that other posts have been moved before,so therefore I asked the question.
The sale post has been taken down, which I accept.
However why are there posts still in the for sale and wanted section that are from people with even less posts than me?
I have helped out in the past when an Oofer needed parts, which I sent just for posting cost,so I am not here to make money,I was hoping that Goldie may have been of use to someone on here.
No worries, but an explanation to why some posts are allowed and some not, might have helped.
Have enjoyed being a member of your family and thank everyone for their help when Goldie has been poorly.
Unfortunately I am soon to be Omega less although we have downsized to an Astra, soare there any rules that state, as I will no longer be an Omega Owner I must leave and join the Astra club?
Fantastic Forum, well done everyone,I was always taught if you dont ask you dont get, obviously some ask and get and others dont!
Happy Xmas one and all ;)

:(
Seems a shame - I hope for whatever reasons things get sorted amicably. Sorry to say I'm spotting a bit of arrogance and consequential sarcasm, or worse, the correcting of people on technicalities, which really isn't necessary (unless it is necessary, if you follow!) of late on the forum. As you say, if you don't ask, you don't get, and how else do we learn unless we ask? I would have thought most people on here have been on the receiving end of teachers/employers who have belittled/slapped down curiosity/so-called 'stupid' questions, which only leads to a lack of learning.
I think there's a fantastic spirit and helpfulness on here - which I understand you're also recognising and appreciative of, as am I. Happy Christmas to yourself and Goldie.
Hope she's able to be sold, and ideally via the forum, to keep her 'in the family' so to speak. :y

The only posts from people with less than 250 posts in the For Sale/Wanted area are wanted adds and these the admins/moderators have to manually move there.
Its a topic we often discuss in the inner sanctum of the forum and as much as rules could potentially be bent, we don't as its the only way to play fair with all.
I hope you understand

Someone mention a Goldie :)

No need to leave the forum mate - there are others on here, myself included, that don't have Omegas as their daily drivers, although we still have an Omega Estate in the "collection" which my partner uses to to transport her racing dogs.

And I'd add that neither Mark or Emd are on the list of the sarcastic ones :)
And second, that the helpful and kind OOFers are certainly a higher ratio to the amount of helpful kind people in... 'real life.'
99% decent people on here, vs 99% idiots in the real world ;D
