Title: Just conformationabout battery condition,as per guide.
Post by: moggy on 18 December 2014, 15:55:33
Hi all,as per above. This morning battery flat, jumped car with my power center no problem.I checked the battery with my meter,14.36 at idle.Went on a 20 mile run,got back checked again 14.36 at idle.Turned engine off checked again 12.36,i had no load on.As it was light,so no lights or anything else.As per the guide i take it the battery is shagged, just asking. For some conformation really, unless i have not read the guide right.Regards Dean. :-\.

20 mile Run, its actually takes a long time to fully charge a flat battery.

Best way if poss is remove Battery, charge it overnight, then leave it somewhere cold for 24 hours before checking again.
