Title: My Cubot P10 arrived this morning.
Post by: Field Marshal Dr. Opti on 19 December 2014, 11:14:18
I must say that I'm mighty impressed for £62.

It's well made and very quick to respond. The only fly in the ointment is that it came with nothing but rudimentary 'quick set up' instructions. Even the Cubot website has little information on the P10.

Sim card.....or should that be sim card(s) because it seems to need two?

What would be most appropriate for 'Pay as you go' on EE?

Also, what are these 1p sim cards that are everywhere on Ebay......How does that work?

You pay 1p for a sim off ebay. You put it in your phone and it allows you to make free calls and texts for ever. Right up your street.  ;D

I thought they were dual sim which means you don't need two but you can fit two if you have two numbers.

Correct, but if you do fit 2 Sims you have have to tell the phone which Sim you want to for Data (3g etc). should default to Sim 1.

Can be handy if you want to 1 Sim for Calls, and the other for Internet, but can also be a pita or expensive if you dont keep an eye on which one is being used for Data.

They are handy for that if Im honest, beets hiding the Sim behind the battery or your wallet then losing them getting off the Plane / Airport etc.

Not trying to do a sales jobbie, but I'll be selling my Nokia X Dual Sim (cheap'ish) in a week or two, as just got my hands on a new Dual Sim toy.

Its the one that thinks its a Windows Phone but its actually an Android. - http://www.gsmarena.com/nokia_x-6067.php
