Dirty rear window, or shitty connections to the aerial amp

BBC (due to their history of Broadcasting Licensing) Transmit their Main National Channels at KW's of Power, where Local Commercial and later National Channels are piped down to a few hundred Watts.

When in full working order, it should have no issues picking up the independents. Those Philips units aren't the most sensitive, but certainly aren't deaf either.

So, I repeat, check screen for dirt, and ensure the amp is working properly.

The Signal strength from Heart is becoming an issue as they strive for world domination - I think they are using the same output they had for ten transmitters over about a thousand now - we get a lot of people here complaining about it

If you struggle to receive Radio 2 / Radio 4 and Classic FM - then you may have a reception problem (they are the strongest)

Not doubting you for a moment, but why is the volume of Radio 2 less than that of others? I've found it to be the case in my Omega & now my Merc ......... can't remember about the Astras I've had  :-\

No problem with any BBC radio channels and no signal loss on the move either  ;) All other channels are receivable but as soon as i drive the car the signal becomes weak  ???

Much like the content. I channel flick a lot whilst driving, and it seems Heart is 55 minutes of adverts and trash, and 5 mins of tunes.
