in preparation for my holiday to France next week.
First stop today was the tyre centre, 4 Dunlop SP2000 Sports, then off to the dealers for my dipstick.
The main job of the day was to change the gearbox oil, check the diff oil as the primary shaft seal s leaking, engine oil and filter change and drill out the injector nozzles (again)
once i got the car up in the air i was really messing myself, my worse fear was fining the thrust washer in the sump, the gods shone upon me and i only found a lot of brown/red oil.
As part of the strip down i also tapped all the bolt hole and cleaned up all the threads on the bolts, it made it all go back together a lot easier.
It took me about 2 hours to do the gearbox oil, and not a drop was spilt!!! many thanks to Kevin W for letting me borrow his tool for putting the fluid back in easily, Kevin you should market that mate :y
Oil and filter was next , that all went easily, whilst i was at it anti freeze was changed as the car dumped its contents of the radiator after the vaporiser hose came off
Final job was LPG injectors, these were drilled out to 3mm, ran the auto calibration, took it out on the road and it needed NO adjustment, after 15 miles of mixed roads deflection was less than 5%, and i consider than excellent
I had one parcel arrive today, some window socks, instead of window blinds i bought these, they are an Austrialian product that fits over the entire of the top of the back doors

and the advantage is you can open the windows as well
All in all an excellent day
