. . . how many colon checks had been done before they put this down my throat without properly cleaning it!  :o

Doe not supprise me! When I worked as a general nurse a new nurse was carrying out a catheterisation and could not find the normal saline... so she decided to put diet coke in to a chaps bladder to wash it out.... coat bag.... struk off.

Probably as many as the time the chef in the local eatery has been to the loo and then picked up your steak with unwashed hands !!!!

Similar to any line of work, really.  I have seen and done a fair old bit on cars over the years using trade 'tricks' to straighten panels and chassis members, work on suspension etc etc.  

As my brother describes it, some things are best not to be seen by fools or bairns!    ;D
