Just seen a TV advert for their sale, aimed at orders before midnight on Christmas Day, just commented to swmbo that there is no escape, now that we have on-line shopping, even Christmas Day is a shopping day................. ::) ::)

Ordered 8 for pick up tomorrow, my friend at Halfords said they hadn't had a great amount delivered this year so may be wise to reserve what you need ;)

Or you could buy 20l of 10w30 semi-synthetic at ECP for £39.95. Less whatever discount you've managed to acquire.

They had a price for that too, but I don't see the point of it in a 14 yearold, 175,000 mile, normally aspirated, petrol beater.

I have been using this fully synth oil (http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/p/accessories-engine-oil/engine-oils/engine-oil/5w40-engine-oil/?521776031&0&cc5_248) for the last 2 changes. Works well, no mayo issues and seems to have cured the mild oil drinking habit that my V6 had.

I was topping up 1.5L every 5000mls. No such issues now.

Plus it is cheap year long (£12 for 5 L) and if you do wish to stock pile, then they do offer a discount of 5,10,15 off orders of 50, 75 and 100.

Sounds expensive to the 20l GM semi I bought last month for £26+VAT ;)
