Title: Heater Matrix Flush
Post by: Andy663 on 29 December 2014, 16:49:34
I've just had a look at the matrix flush, seems fairly straight forward. Will I lose any coolant when I disconnect the heater hoses?

Yes but why dont you change it whilst doing the flush.

You'll lose a little when you disconnect the two hoses, but you'll lose everything that is in the Matrix.  I have no idea what volume the Matrix is, but as you will be bleeding the system anyway, it's certainly a good time to drain and replace as much coolant as possible (unless you have done so recently).
