Looks good but......colour/wheels not for me,mileage OK but again not remarkable, same as service history probably less than a lot of members on here do to their cars,dunno....think it might do around a grand,no room on the drive for this one ::)

No it's not silver it's Oyster, I have had two in this colour, think it took over from gold in 2002. Pictures are 3 months old so does it still look the same now, as then it looks like the coolant level is low.

Looks in good condition, but the only way to tell is go and have a look, as nitro said about a £1000 tops. Now if it had been black I may of had it. :y

Can't believe how some people over value something like a gas guzzling 12-14 year old car......whoever buys it will have a rude awakening when things start going wrong..  :o ???

That's why egay invented 2nd chance offers, as they know everyone shill bids.

Yet another reason to avoid the site.  Still, I suspect its going down the shitter financially as well ;)

I imagine he picks up his cars for SFA. He then wipes them down with a damp cloth and puts £3995 on the windscreen. :D ;D

Guys you made me scared.  :o
I'm just afraid what next can happen wrong with it apart from thermostat...

what do you mean by HG failure ?
now i see that rocker gaskets need to be replaced as well.
and I think something is draining the battery

coolant ( on the pictures indeed looks low - but when look via the cap looks ok)

Post by: 05omegav6 on 12 April 2015, 19:11:02
Coolant loss/oil in header tank is often misdiagnosed as HG failure... panic not as 3.2s almost never suffer fron HG failure, and misfires are almost always external leaks rather than internal ones ;)

But both are causes for people to shit bricks in panic... hence your good fortune wrt purchase price ;)

Thanks Taxi Al ;)
i think that head gasket is ok, checked the dipstick and coolant - definitely not mixing together, morning start is perfect and no any suspicious noises.
but engine is a bit sweaty - rocker gaskets to do and i think  might be oil pan gasket .
coolant when you look on the pictures indeed looks low but look on the middle, the right side of expansion tank is dirty where level should be so it look like low but is not, checked few times after all the posts :) bit  happy but i know the car still need TLC engine wise (mainly need good clean and that small oil sweats around )
still hope to keep the car in mint ( do mint condition first) for many years :)

PS. two weeks ago i had HG gone in my land rover defender --- was driving it and suddenly noise like train chuf chuf chuf
